We are glad you have chosen our learning center! Parents are encouraged to visit the center with their children prior to the first day of childcare.
This gives the staff and child an opportunity to meet and get to know one another. It makes separating on the child's first day a little easier for both parent and child. Please feel free to talk to your child's teacher or the director at any time!
Newborns through Age 12 Welcome!
Linda's Little Angels Learning Center is a State Licensed Daycare Center with a State Certified Director. We do not require a registration fee for your child. We support parents enrolled in WTO-CCMS programs. We follow the USDA Child Nutrition Program when serving breakfast, lunch and snacks to our children. We offer school transportation, sports & physical education classes, and computer education classes, among many other learning activities for your child. Classrooms are Internet video monitored through remotepeace.net on the World Wide Web.
MEALS
Breakfast is served until 8:30 a.m., lunch is served at 11:00 a.m., and a snack is served at 2:30 p.m. & 3:30 p.m. Children need to be in the kitchen by 8:25 a.m. for breakfast. Children will need to be in the classroom by 10:00 a.m. to be counted for lunch.
HEALTH
Medical and emergency information forms must be on file before your child can enter school. All immunizations must be current. We ask you to keep children at home if there are any signs of fever, pain, frequent coughing, signs of conjunctivitis (pink eye), vomiting, diarrhea, and/or excessive nasal discharge.
If a child exhibits any of these symptoms at school we will call you to pick the child up. When called, you are expected to pick your child up IMMEDIATELY. Contagious diseases must be reported to the school as soon as the illness has been diagnosed.
INTERNET VIDEO MONITORING SYSTEM
With the new Internet camera system, others may view your child on the Internet. Your child may be viewed by anyone that has contracted for the monitoring Internet service. The director will monitor your child during the day on the Internet monitoring system. The website address to log into is www.remotepeace.net. The company's current fee for access to Remote Peace is $29.00 per month plus a one-time $15.00 activation fee. You will have unlimited viewing access. To subscribe for access to Remote Peace, you must complete the Subscription Application, be at least 18 years old, and you must have a child enrolled at a child care center participating in the Remote Peace viewing service. You will be given a master account in your name and will be assigned a user name and password that will enable you to access Remote Peace Internet Monitoring Systems.
